Diabetes UK Guildford & South-West Surrey Group
Service
Our support group is part of a network of local groups spread around the UK, supported by the Diabetes UK Charity. The number of people currently diagnosed with diabetes in our area is nearly 10,000, and rising.
We're not able to give medical advice. But we are here to a) provide support to everyone with diabetes, their families and carers, b) to provide sources of information to help you learn more about diabetes, and c) share our experiences of living with the condition.
The group has regular zoom meetings and has recently started coffee mornings for those who prefer face to face meetings.

Peer Talk
Service
PeerTalk’s peer support groups are for adults facing difficult times with their mental health. They offer a free, friendly and confidential space where you can talk, be heard and supported without fear of being judged. We run in non-clinical settings and meet our attendees with kindness, respecting who they are, and with a listening ear. The groups are run by two trained volunteer facilitators, but the support comes from other attendees as it’s peer-to-peer support. No need to book or to be referred. Just come along. This support is immediately available with no waiting lists.
